Basic Learning step to learn Hindi
Hi guys...my name is Andrea....am not very good in hindi so i have been taking classes which helps me alot and today with my knowledge i will be teaching you guys what i know...i will be teach you how to introduce yourself in hindi and greetings there are more you can learn
So i will be starting first with you introduction
Firstly you would like to start with you name which you will say as
Namaste...mera naam ( your name) hai...aap se milkar khushi hui😊
Which in english says
Hi/hello...my name is (your name)...nice to meet you😊
Thats a simple introduction
Next i would like to teach you different types of greeting used in india for example
Namaste=hi/hello
Also if you meet someone before noon/morning you should say, "suprabhat".
There is another word i know which indians use and that word is
Phir milenge=see you
/ \
Again we will meet
Next i will move on to formal and informal expessions in hindi for now take notes because what am about to say is important to know:
In hindi verbs are changed depending on the number,gender or noun in sentences
When asking a older man if he speaks english you will ask:
-kyaa aap angresii bolte hai?
(Do you speak english?)
And to ask a older women if she speak english you would ask
-kyaa aap angresii bolti hai?
-( Do you speak english?)
Kyaa=question marking particle
Aap=you....(in formal way )
Angresii=English
Bolte=use when subject is male
Bolti=use when subject is female
Hai=endinng particle which goes with the formal word for "you" which is aap
Now we are going to make the sentence informal...first we need to yse the informal version of the word "aap" in the sentence and change it to the informal word in hindi which is "tum" and also change the sentence ending particle from "hai" to "ho"
Watch as i change these sentences to informal himdi sentences
To ask a younger man if he speaks english you would ask
-kyaa tum angresii bolte ho?
