Today we gonna talk about the use of (main+ne मैं+ने) and (kha+na खा+ना) in a sentence with some suffixes indicating time (past tense) of what has already been done attached to them.
"Main" = meaning = "I"
"Ne ने" indicating past tense.
Literally it should be (Main + ne) meaning
"I have" the suffix "ne ने" usually is used as a suffix attached to some nouns indicating what has already been done in the past.
For example
Maine aam khāyā.
I ate mango
It doesn't matter whether a girl or a boy is eating.
If "ne" is not used , the verb will be written directly according to the subject
I went
Maiñ gayā. (Boy)
Maiñ gayī. (Girl)
Obviously Now a question arises where to use "ne" and where not ??
Is it ? Yes, of course
So let's find out
We need to check if the verb has an object or not ?
If the verb has object we will use "ne"
For example ,
Ate , cut , played , drank etc
If you ask ,
what I ate ? It will be food
What I cut ? Vegetables
What I played? A match
So "ne" will be used here
Maine khāyā
I ate.
Maine kāTā
I cut.
Maine khelā
I played.
If the verb don't have an object we won't use "ne" and the verb
The verb "khana खाना" "kha + na" "खा + ना" "to eat" is attached with the verb stem "na ना" making it completely a full verb, the stem "na ना" is now replaced with the suffix "ya या" indicating past tense, let's check below for some examples 👇👇👇
